Lesson Plan for Sincere Apologies with Diggity Dog and Pippity Pup
This lesson is based on my children's book called Diggity Dog and Pippity Pup: An Apology Story. Included in this SEL lesson is a detailed plan for teaching your young children how to offer a sincere apology. The lesson plan includes, of course, suggested step-by-step directions that you can follow that will lead your students to a deeper understanding of how to offer a sincere apology and why it's important. The lesson plan includes extension activities such as a drawing and writing page and a popsicle stick puppet activity. Finally, the plan contains a full-color, 8 1/2 x 11 mini-poster of Diggity Dog and Pippity Pup.
