Lesson Plan for Developing a Growth Mindset with BoBo the Can-Do Cat
This lesson is based on my children's book called BoBo the Can-Do Cat. Included in this SEL lesson is a detailed plan for teaching your young students how to develop a growth mindset. The lesson plan includes, of course, suggested step-by-step directions that you can follow that will lead your students to a deeper understanding of what a growth mindset is and how we can develop one. The lesson plan includes extension activities such as a drawing and writing page and a popsicle stick puppet activity. Finally, the plan contains a full-color, 8 1/2 x 11 mini-poster of BoBo.
